Jess Escamillas is a multidisciplinary artist that works with both digital and practical tools to create comics, storyboards, and illustrations. He has over 8 years of experience working in the animation industry in production for clients such as Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, and most recently, LAIKA studios for Wildwood. When not working in production, he spends his time creating art projects for clients and himself.

He also spent 11 years in the US Army serving as a Tanker, Artilleryman, and Logistics Sergeant before pursuing art and animation. He currently lives in Oregon with his girlfriend and her dog, Toni Stark.
