Comics & Storyboards
I loved rushing home after school to read new comics that came out that week. They were such a big influence on me that I studied them in college, and in 2013, I received a degree in Sequential Art from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD).
Below are a few samples of comics I’ve made. The first two pages are from “The Monster & The Knight,” a tale flipped on its head, where the monster is not who you think it is.
“Iraq Patrol” is a comic based on a mission I was on in 2004 when I served in Iraq while in the Army.
“Memories” is based on the experience of leaving a loved one at home for deployment.
“Mechs & Skaters” is modeled after friends I had in the military who would skateboard the minute we were done doing maintenance on the tanks.
“Kaboom” was made for some friends that were part of a mortar crew in the Army.
